Join This House of Books at Art House for a special showing of the original Men in Black to honor the late Matt Marullo and raise funds for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). MiB was Matt’s favorite movie, and his widow Noreen will be on hand to help us pay tribute to him with Agents K and J and their iconic sunglasses. This event is FREE and open to the public, but any and all donations to AFSP will be welcome. Doors open at 6pm, and the film will start at 6:30pm.
After a police chase with an otherworldly being, a New York City cop is recruited as an agent in a top-secret organization established to monitor and police alien activity on Earth: the Men in Black. Agent K and new recruit Agent J find themselves in the middle of a deadly plot by an intergalactic terrorist who has arrived on Earth to assassinate two ambassadors from opposing galaxies.
