A local star with lots in the works, this is a rare treat to see her perform live at Art House!

Jenna Greenwell is just getting started, and the timing couldn’t be better.

After somewhat stumbling upon her natural knack for songwriting just shy of her 40th birthday, Jenna switched gears to pursue music fully after a career in the church. Jenna is heavily influenced by Americana greats Lori McKenna, Brandi Carlile, and Jason Isbell, writing songs that blend grit, hope and an invitation to let deep sorrow point to other-worldly joy. She is currently recording new music, expected to release in 2026.

Yellow Sweatshirt, her debut album, compiles melodies written in a season of grief after Jenna lost a close friend in a car accident. Produced by Karl Vincent Roth, this five-song offering weaves threads of sorrow and joy, pain and hope, and acknowledges that hard seasons are best weathered together. Based in Montana, she primarily travels the Rocky Mountain region, both solo and with her band.
