Art House Presents

Miss Massive Snowflake began in 2004 in Portland, OR as a solo recording project by Shane de Leon and has included many musicians that helped de Leon realize his diverse musical ideas. The band has performed over 800 shows in over a dozen countries during the last twenty years. When de Leon landed back in Billings, his hometown, after 28 years away he quickly found musicians to flush out his latest songs. For the past two years local guitarist, Bobby Brown, has been involved, and allowed Shane de Leon to lean into just singing on some songs and putting down his guitar, a long time goal of the project.

This concert will be the debut of Miss Massive Snowflake as a 6 piece band including Bobby Brown, Will Ryerson (Giant Wave), Amanda Addy, and Joe Schultz and Lee Hancock (Brontops) with songs that utilize more orchestration, background/female vocals, and keyboards. The music will encompass songs from the past decade of Miss Massive Snowflake releases, and the band plans on leaning into the theatrics of doing a seated theatre style gig. De Leon’s music is idiosyncratic and ranges from indie pop rockers to atmospheric lyrical chillers. Come enjoy some of Billings most unique musicians working together to create an entire evening of total vibes.
